Pattern for woman and kid: Cardigan with rounded yoke and gathers, flared with a simple hem or cinched with a band. Optional ruffle on the front and back, optional pockets. Full-length or partial buttoning. Finished with a facing. A timeless cardigan or light jacket with lovely details.

- Sweatshirt fabric, french terry, fleece, thick jersey, knit, denim, flannel, smooth or fine corduroy. The ruffle and facing can be made from woven fabric like poplin. Ribbing can be used for the cuffs and hem if the main fabric is not stretchy enough.
